Bookies

Depression is a serious and relatively common mental health issue that can have significant implications for their overall well-being and development. Books can be a helpful and therapeutic way for us to cope with anger or depression. They can provide a sense of escape, understanding, and sometimes even inspiration. Here are some books that address themes of anger, depression, and resilience, and may resonate with teenagers going through difficult emotions:

1."Speak" by Laurie Halse Anderson: While primarily addressing issues of trauma and its aftermath, this novel can resonate with teenagers dealing with emotional pain and finding their voice.

2. "All the Bright Places" by Jennifer Niven: This novel addresses mental health, grief, and the impact of small acts of kindness, exploring the complex emotions that teenagers may face.

3. "My Heart and Other Black Holes" by Jasmine Warga: The novel explores the lives of two teenagers who form a suicide pact. It delves into themes of depression, friendship, and the impact of human connections.

4. "The Fault in Our Stars" by John Green: Another novel by John Green, this book deals with themes of illness, love, and loss, and it may resonate with teenagers experiencing complex emotions.

Here are few books that I read when I felt lonely and depressed: "The Dairy of The Young Girl Anne Frank" by Anne Frank, "Ice" by Stephen Bowkett, "Twelfth Fail" by Anurag Pathak translated from the Hindi original by Gautam Choubey and Lalit Kumar.
